My name is Cynthia Boyd, and I am a 2D animator and story artist located in NYC. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation and Multimedia, I'm aiming for a career focused on storyboarding for film/TV. 

 

My work was featured in the 2024 and 2025 Here/Now Student Art Exhibition, receiving the award for Best In Animation for my work “pink and porble” and "A Magical Girl Transforms". By combining my love of science and art, I aim to use my storytelling abilities to create rich, fantasy worlds with a new perspective.

 

Bringing characters to life is my favorite aspect of being a story artist, and being able to communicate a story with dynamic characters is what my goal is with my artwork.
